1. How does it work? Perfection’s proprietary Nano- Amino Complex miraculously suspends the internal textural memory of the hair to safely transform it to a new, soft and sensual look and feel.
2. How long does it last? Following the Perfection SmoothOut service with regular use of the Perfection Smoothing Sulfate, Salt and Paraben- free Shampoo and Conditioner, the hair will retain its new sleek and smooth memory state for 8-12 weeks. It will then gradually return to its pre-service state with no line of demarcation.
3. Who is the Perfection SmoothOut System for? The Perfection SmoothOut System has a low pH formula and contains no harsh chemicals which makes it safe to use on all clients. Unlike the trouble- filled Thio and Brazilian type straighteners of recent past, Perfection’s advanced formula poses no health risks and actually improves the integrity of the hair.
4. Can the Perfection SmoothOut service be applied over hair that is color- treated, highlighted and/or bleached? The Perfection SmoothOut Service can be successfully applied to color-treated, highlighted and/or bleached hair. In fact, Perfection is so gentle it allows for same-day color and shampoo.
5. How much does the service cost? The Perfection SmoothOut service typically will take 2hrs or more depending on the length and thickness of hair. The price starts at $250 and includes the service and the first bottle of shampoo and conditioner to take home with you. The price will vary depending on how much hair each client has.
6. Will I still be able to wear my hair curly? Yes, depending on the amount of curl you had before the service. The Perfection SmoothOut reduces the amount of curl, it does not eliminate it. It will take out frizz and reduce your styling time .
7. Can Perfection SmoothOut be used on pregnant women and children? Yes, it is safe for all clients including pregnant women and children. There is no age requirement
8. I have really coarse resistant curly hair, will this work on me? Again depending on the amount of curl sometimes with really coarse hair the service has to be done twice to help reduce all the frizz.
9. What are some of the pros of getting Perfection SmoothOut done instead of a Keratin or Brazilian treatment?

10. If I have had another straightener/ relaxer done to my hair can I still have the Perfection SmoothOut done? Yes, Perfection SmoothOut is gentle enough to be performed over previously treated hair w/ keratin, formaldehyde, sodium, or calcium hydroxide relaxers.
11. Will I experience any odor with Perfection SmoothOut? The Perfection SmoothOut solution contains amino acids that are heated during the service and which produce a mild odor. If hair is absorbent it may temporarily retain the aroma. However, any residual odor can be eliminated within 2-3 shampoos following the service.
12. Can Perfection be used on African-American or ethnic hair types with stronger curl? Perfection can be used on all types and conditions including African-American and other ethnic-type hair. Perfection will reduce curl by up to 90% with the initial service. However, in most cases, a second application will eliminate the remaining curl.
13. Will I see any color loss after the Perfection service? As the solution penetrates the hair fiber, in some instances you may experience some color displacement. If you do experience color loss you can immediately refresh the color following the Perfection service. When coloring, it’s always advisable to color AFTER the Perfection service.
